The Power Acoustik PMD‑143H is a fully integrated universal ceiling-mount DVD system designed to replace your vehicle’s existing dome light with a multi-functional media hub. Built for long trips, rear-seat passengers, and fleet installations, it combines compact design with powerful playback options and seamless audio distribution throughout your vehicle.

This overhead unit features a 13.3-inch widescreen LCD with a 1366×768 resolution and 400 NIT brightness, ensuring crisp visuals even in sunlit interiors. The flip-down monitor folds neatly against the ceiling when not in use and opens smoothly when you're ready to watch.

Designed for media versatility, the PMD‑143H includes a built-in car-spec DVD drive engineered for heat resistance and shock tolerance. Whether you're playing DVDs or 720p MP4 files from a 32GB SD card or USB drive, this system supports high-quality playback without relying on a Wi-Fi signal or mobile data.

Wireless audio functionality is handled via a single-channel infrared (IR) transmitter, compatible with headphones like the HIR-1 and HP—11S, and an 8-channel FM stereo transmitter. This allows you to choose between private listening or routing the audio directly to your car’s speaker system via your FM radio.

Smart device integration is handled through the MHL MobileLink input, which allows mirroring from compatible smartphones and tablets. The system also supports AV input and output through RCA connections, letting you expand to gaming consoles, media players, or additional screens.
