The Power Acoustik MOFO‑104X represents a redesigned force in high-output subwoofers, fine-tuned for strength, thermal control, and clean low-end delivery. Part of the MOFO Series X, this 10″ dual 4-ohm subwoofer delivers 1200 watts RMS with a build engineered for real-world SPL and reliability.

What separates the MOFO‑104X from other 10" subs isn’t just power—it’s the way that power is controlled, cooled, and translated into accurate, deep bass. This driver is built around a composite sandwich cone that combines a polypropylene face for stiffness and a spruce pulp backing for warmth and responsiveness. This hybrid design reduces flex while preserving low-frequency articulation.

At the core is a 2.5″ dual 4Ω voice coil, wound on a lightweight aluminum former and supported by a cast aluminum basket for structural rigidity and non-resonant operation. The anodized blue aluminum dust cap isn’t a visual gimmick. It’s directly bonded to the voice coil former, doubling as a functional heatsink. Built for those who prefer the natural sonic behavior of paper, the MOFO-104X features a non-pressed pulp cone reinforced with composite layering to prevent flex without compromising tone. The dual poly-cotton spider suspension allows for precise cone control during high excursion, keeping movement linear even under pressure.
